
On Sunday, emergency services quickly responded to a three-vehicle crash on Highway 556, located between Heyden and Searchmont. A representative from Aweres Fire and Rescue confirmed that Sault paramedics, OPP, and Aweres Fire Rescue all assisted at the scene.

The highway was temporarily closed for cleanup, but thankfully, there were no serious injuries. By noon, the scene was cleared, and normal traffic resumed.
